Desk Report: Ibrahimpur Union Parishad Chairman of Brahmanbaria Nabinagar Upazila, in the presence of Md. Abu Mosa, his forces attacked a young man with the intention of killing him. The young man is the son of Md. Yunus Mia, Car driver Md. Ershadul Islam of Bashidpur village of the same union. A force of 5/7 people under the leadership of Ziaur Rahman Jibu, son of Ataur Rahman of Jafarpur village, the leader of the chairman’s forces, attacked him. When he was sent to Nabinagar Sadar Government Hospital in emergency medical condition, the doctor on duty referred him to Brahmanbaria Sadar Government Hospital. Ershad could not enter the police station to file a case due to the threat of death.
Yesterday, Thursday (02/11), the injured young man raised this complaint in a written statement in front of the journalists. The incident took place on Wednesday (01/11) in front of the Dutch Bangla Agent Bank near Ibrahimpur Orphanage Gate. According to the doctor on duty, he has a fatal injury near his right eye and bruises all over his body.

According to sources, there is a land dispute between Ershad and his uncle Ahad Mia in the family feud. Litigation is ongoing on the issue. His uncle Ahad Miah is the most trusted and close person of Chairman Md. Abu Mosa. If he is alive, his uncle Ahad Mia will not be able to occupy that land, so the attack was carried out by calling him on the phone in advance. At that time, the chairman was present at the spot. According to Ershad, on the way to file a complaint at the police station after receiving first aid from Nabinagar hospital, the attackers threatened to kill him if he filed a case. He has sought the safety of his life and family from the police administration.
Tried to talk to Chairman Abu Mosa in this regard, he was not available, sent a short message but did not respond.
